When the film was launched with Bobby as its director, the Sardaar Gabbar Singh team announced that the film will release as a Sankranthi gift for fans. However, several delays due to Pawan's political work and the DOP's sudden exit etc caused an unavoidable delay and Sardaar had to miss out on the Sankranthi race.
Now, latest update from the film's unit is that Sardaar Gabbar Singh will now release on 8th April, on the occasion of Telugu New Year, Ugadi. With the festive advantage coupled with the summer holidays, there's no doubt that Sardaar will strike gold at the box-office if it manages to garner even a slightly decent talk.
As of now, Sardaar's shooting is going on in Secunderabad and Pawan Kalyan is taking part in this schedule. After this, the unit members will go on a month long schedule in Vadodara, Gujarat, where the film's leading beauty Kajal Aggarwal, will also join the shooting. The entire shooting part will conclude by February after which the team will go on a whirlwind promotional campaign.
